Hi guy's,
Me and the better half have been discussing this years holiday, and I really fancy Goa.
It seemed to be very popular some years back but Egypt seems to be the "in place" at the moment.
When I mentioned to the wife that I fancied Goa, she asked where it was, and when I said "India" she rolled her eyes, and replied "don't you think you eat enough curry?"
So, I need to sell it to her somehow. Any of you guy's ever been, and if so, where can you recommend?
I know that it has a monsoon season, so maybe that's not the best time to go?
Any selling points that you guy's have, would be greatly received.
Many thanks in advance,
Ray :)

My sister went there for a month two years ago. She said it was the best vacation she has ever taken.
Don't know if that helps but she said it was an amazing experience.

Hi VC,
it was an amazing experience.
That's what I'm hoping for too. Unfortunately, the wife is a very 'cocktails, sunbathing, shopping type of holiday maker' and therein lies the problem. It's got to tick at least some of her typical holiday boxes or I don't stand a chance.
My reasons for wanting to go to Goa, will be very different from hers, I can tell ya :(.
Thanks for the reply mate.

That description is my sister to a tee. I think your wife will love it. My sis has piccies of her on an elephant ride and all sorts. She said the prices are amazing so shopping will be a real experience.

Tell her it's not far from Agra (lies!) then show her a picture of the Taj Mahal, and explain the story behind it's creation. Women always get soppy hearing about it and she'll be on your side in seconds!
