Hi everyone!

I am so thankful I came across this site!  Before this, I had no idea about base sauces and the such, but this site is a wealth of information and I can immediately tell that people on here are passionate about curry.  Growing up in England (and visiting many times since), I am familiar with British Indian restaurants and have tried. unsuccessfully, to recreate the experience. 

Thanks to the wonderful posters on this site, I am halfway done making a Chicken Madras.  I must thank CA/Corey Adler for his wonderful recipe and also thank Dipuraja for giving me measurements I can more readily understand!  (I have no clue how much 20g of coriander is!).

I will be sure to post on the respective boards when the finished product is complete, but wanted to introduce myself and more importantly, thank each and everyone of you for contributing to a vibrant and thriving messageboard!

welcome kv, if you are a Madras fan you may also wish to look out for posts by Razor, the Manchester Madras Man!!

Thank you Stephen!  I will be sure to make Razor's Madras next!  Just made CA's Madras, it is divine!

You won't go far wrong using CA's recipes.  Would be interested to see how you would compare mine to CA's.

Thanks Paul!  I can already sense this is a close community full of friendly and welcoming curry chefs!  @ Razor, I will be sure to let you know how your Madras turns out, will be making it within the next few weeks!
