Hi everyone, on Sat night i made the usual curries for the family, Korma for the kids, Dhansak for my wife ands a Jalfrfeizi/madras crossover for myself. I didn't have a lot of tom puree left so when i made my own curry later i used about a tbsp of ketchup and i have to say it was the best curry i have made it seemed to have that taste and smell.Just wondered if anyone else had tried ketchup before, i will certainly be using from now on in my curry making.
Cheers for now,
MikeyP, Aberdeen.

Hi Mikey,
I always use tommy ketchup in my Madras and Jal Frezi, and I believe the end result is better than tom puree! I think it adds a sweetness that you just don't get with tom puree, just be careful not to over do it though, it can go wrong very quickly. 1 Tbsp is about right in my humble opinion ::)
