It all looks good to me especially those juicy prawns. If it all tasted half as good as it looks, it would sure put a smile on my face.
Well done that man. :)

Glen,
I wasn't going to have a curry tonight but, after seeing them pictures, I just have to now ;D

Hello subj! Nice post and nice pics :P What's the green stuff on the paratha??
Ghandi
-
Amazing job on the rice, it's really hard to get the colour separation! How did you manage it?
-
Hi Subj,
I would like your bhuna recipe as its my favourite dish :)
-
hiya
firstly to ghandiman, the paratha is covered with butter, garlic powder and dried parsley.bobby next, the rice is to corys recipe.regarding the colours.i always use a greater amount of yellow, then green and lastly a tiny amount of red..all of these go a long way.its best to use just a little.err on the side of caution.its surprising how much it will colour the rice.next time i cook a batch in a couple of weeks i,ll take photos.

hiya 976bar
next time i cook the bhuna i will write out the recipe for you as i personally dont use measurements for this one.ive cooked it enough to kind of know what to add.it always tastes the same so i guess i must be doing something right ;D

hiya
heres the complete recipe for the bhuna
first the base which is really simple but gives great results.adapted from this site
4 average sized onions
150ml veg oil
400g tin of tomatoes
15 cloves of garlic chopped
fry onions 15 mins
add tomatoes and garlic
plus 1 tablespoon each of the following
coriander
cumin
chilli
paprika
turmeric
plus 1 teaspoon of salt and the same of ginger powder
fry for 5 minutes
add 5 pints of water and blend
bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
leave out the chilli powder if you prefer milder dishes.
try to keep it simple.im sure this is what happens in most takeaways.also cuts the cost down as well as being fast.anyway here are the photos with more to follow in my next post...(http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/pics/b3e15bdb1311c6121b3cebc7cfa7eaab.jpg) (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/#b3e15bdb1311c6121b3cebc7cfa7eaab.jpg)the ingredients..(http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/pics/4ba7e17bbf11f08886015a1db45e3111.jpg) (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/#4ba7e17bbf11f08886015a1db45e3111.jpg)onions after 15 minutes.(http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/pics/64db5e28dbe6a87d2cf0422cc9a15bbd.jpg) (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/#64db5e28dbe6a87d2cf0422cc9a15bbd.jpg)base sauce blended..(http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/pics/647d1530d58d0217eccb1f342519a7c3.jpg) (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/#647d1530d58d0217eccb1f342519a7c3.jpg)the finished article.really easy cheap and great results.give it a go
