Title: What else do you do?

For a small minority or people on here, it seems like curry cooking could be their only interest in life. For me, it's one of several interests.  How about you? What other interests do you have , in terms of time expended?

I wouldn't even say Indian cooking is one of my main hobbies in terms of time spent, but cooking in general probably is, not least because we all have to eat something, so experiments with new recipes (the hobby element) can usefully be combined with the basic need to stay alive by eating something. A recent focus of mine has been on baking bread by using sour dough which I developed myself and is now over 2 months old.

I also like making things, which is handy when it comes to building something like a tandoor oven. My Mk2 tandoor is almost ready for it's first serious firing, once I can find a large sack of Vericulite at a sensible price, for insulation.

What other interests do you have besides cooking BIR curries?

taxi for kids is my main interest.

cooking all types is 2nd.

3rd is Indian TA, 4 th football, 5th work
