Title: Where in the world?
Post by: Malc. on April 07, 2010, 09:50 AM
Just wondering where everyone is in the world? When I joined the forum I had no idea that it had such a wide audience. But it would be good to know where people are and if Ex-Pat, where you came from.

As for me, i'm in Brighton, East Sussex though Brighton. New Zealand would be better.  ;)

I am currently in Andaucia, Spain in a small town about 80km east of Malaga.   8)
Most of my years in the UK have been in Manchester (hence I am a man City supporter) although I have wandered around quite a lot!  I do miss the Pakistani supermarkets so much  :'(

I'm in Las Vegas.  The U.S. is the 27th country I've lived in and Vegas is the 55th city (honest).

The forum used to have a world map (much like George's "come dine with me" map) where members could pin their location.  I think it got "lost" in a "fourm upgrade".  It might be of interest if we could have it back again? (Stew/Admin would need to do this though).

27th!  :o  Out of about 200!  Good going pforkes!   8)  Which countries?  Where were you born? (if I can ask?).  And how comes you have lived in 27 countries?   Embassy worker, no doubt?  Don't tell me you're the USA Ambassador to Bangladesh!  Or are you James Bond!?  ;)

Just googled it and appears more traditional with Lanc and Yorks. Cow heel is used to add flavour and has alot of natural gelatine.

Axe,

with Lanc and Yorks.

Never, ever, utter these two words in the same sentence unless your refer to them a Lancs (gods country) and Yorks (wrong side of 't' pennines)

I can just imagine Domi now, steam flowing out of her ears, and turning the air blue ;D ;D

I know, my Aunty lived in Sussex; a lovely place with beautiful walks through woods. It's a real shame. A disgrace. Before she went she told us that the place had changed.
I remember a country that is so different to what it is now.
