hi all new on here can someone tell me the best base sauce to use with the chili massala recipie thats posted it only tells quantity

not sure which recipie it is it in a link from a previous question it does mention a recipie by bruce edwards but i cant find it

Just make sure you don't add extra spice mix into the final curry, with this recipe the spices are already in the base. It is also quite a spicy base if you add the fresh chilli and chilli powder. It should give you a nice platform to create a hot chilli massala.
