Interesting you should say that, UF - we've had xbox360 for years but got our little lad a ps3 for xmas. I think it tops the xbox - no fees to pay for a start lol and it's a blu ray too. Xbox 360 seems dated (I know it's older!) in comparison.

I own a PS3 & am currently playing Uncharted2 and also waiting for GranTurismo & F1 to be released.  Saying that I mostly use it for streaming xvids from my pc to watch on my tv.

We've just finished Uncharted2 on normal....playing it through on hard now.

Have to say I'm really looking forward to Heavy Rain....looks a cracker! We're also big fans of Final Fantasy series too. I'm no good at the racing games though (don't say anything about women drivers!) Am dreading GT5 coming out as 'im indoors will never be off it....

Willyeckerslike...Asda do a Dvd player for ?20 that plays xvid and mpeg4's that has a usb port for memory sticks...with upscaling and HDMI out....

Hi Domi,

I have a dvd player that does that,  I take it away with us when we go caravanning but cant be bothered putting them on disc at home.  the ps3 plays them really well over the wireless network but not sure if it upscales.  quality is really good tho on the 46" sony tv.

Will

ahhh...we don't use disks though, Willy, we use the memory sticks....can put a fair few movies on one stick and it's only a matter of copying and pasting the files from the drive to the stick. My hubby's a techno freak so we have all the gadgets, gizmos and consoles dating right back to the zx80 lol he's incredibly boring but very up to the minute hehe

Hello Domi just started playing Heavy Rain, Saturday (27th).
Its a game that you really do get involved with, the story is absorbing and the game itself is just excellent.
You should get this game very good.
I cant wait for Battlefield 2 coming this week aswell.

lol I got it last Thursday UF had it on pre-order since January...played it through from start to finish 3 times already...fantastic game! Have you got the special edition? The DLC "Taxidermist" scene had my heart thumping out of me chest lol - also explains my late night postings...or should that be early morning postings on here. Played through 3 times and a completely different game each time.....absolutely stunning...like me! It's a great game to watch being played too.

And before CA or SS pipe up - I really am a stunner...I work down at the abbattoir, bolt-gunning...so ner! :P

I don't know whether to believe that or not. It would be quite interesting if true.

Sorry SS, it's not true......I use two breezeblocks but only on boll....erm....bullocks  :o though I did work in a butchers when I was in my young teens where I learnt my boning and rolling skills (that's true, BTW)...got more money from there than the typical Saturday jobs and worked through all my summers there too...kept me out of trouble and taught me what good meat is......oh! the double entendres...I feel more like Finbar Saunders than a fat slag now..... :D I guess I'm coming up in the world, eh?
