My brother in law had been to Mowgli's a few times before and recommended it to me .So six of us tried it on 16th December .We all had  a wonderful meals with excellent service and good prices, Very nice furnishing, seating and clean toilets  .
I recommend anyone who is in the area to try Mowgli's

i have...and i agree. great restaurant, a shining star amongst the many indian restaurants within the area

(altho as yet i've not tried the refurbished balti cuisine on woodville road, where i spent most of my time as a student years ago. a great place if only for the memories  ;D)

I absolutely agree with you WelshMick. We are frequently going in this restaurant, when my friends have no work, or we have free time. I've been there recently for my lunch break, I enjoy eating and definitely, they provide a good service.

The food at this restaurant is excellent.

However, I went there for lunch and the service was bad, no, terrible.

Unless the service improves I won't be back there soon.

It really was that bad.

            I never tasted any food from a Indian Restaurant. I think this is the best opportunity that I must do. Can you give an exact address of that restaurant?

Thanks for the recommendation Mick. Drive past this place all the time and it always looks appealing. Do you still go there? Is it still good?

The Best Indian restaurant in Cardiff is/was The Mint and Mustard.

It's even got a Michelin Bibendum award!

The Head Chef, Anand George, has opened another restaurant, The Purple Poppadom.

I think it will be the first Michelin starred restaurant in Cardiff.

He is a brilliant chef and happy to tell you all he knows about cooking!

I even had a guided tour of the kitchens - BRILLIANT FOOD!

Chillies in Whitchurch is good.

@ GulfExpat. Thanks for the post. Have been meaning to try The Mint & Mustard for a while now.. and the purple poppadum menu sounds fantastic!!     Really like the sound of their Taster Menu!!! A bit pricey though...
