Hi, was going to make a Jalfrezi but then changed my mind and done a dopiaza instead and a CTM.Used my new pan for the Dopiaza.
Here we go DOPIAZA

The base used for the Dopiaza was http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=1894.0 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=1894.0)
and the recipe is from "The Curry Secret" book.
CTM

The CTM is not not the red that we are used to because my other half is allergic to food colouring.
used the same base for the CTM (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c331/uncle_frank/P1020751.jpg)
Any questions please feel free to ask, thanks for looking

Ahhh, I see, so it's mushrooms instead of chicken, I get it. And no, never had one, but I do love mushrooms so must try it. Oh, I still can't see any onions in your pic, that was what I was really questioning, it being a dopiaza and all.

Hi SS i slice my onions really fine so you get the smoothness but still get quite a few onions that have not really dissolved, taste divine (if i say so myself).Try it SS.

Yes i was confused about the mushrooms as it says chicken dupiaza in the title. But you know what? i love mushrooms and being very savoury they should work really well in BIR!
I've never had a really good mushroom curry as here and in india they didnt cook them properly which was disappointing. They just cooked them with the sauce so they were that raw flavour rather than carazelized and savoury.
Right, you've got me hungry, i'm going to turn tonight's side dish of okra into a mushroom and okra special.
As for your CTM you could try using kashmiri chilli powder (or MDH deggi mirch) as that adds colour without much heat.

Cheers chinois will try some of that and will get back to you.
Thanks.
