I sometimes use it instead of sugar in my pathia and dhansak curries,

i used it in base for a while. it does add a extra taste. i don't feel it made any difference to the final curry though and stopped using it a good while ago.

Hi alleyyycat i use this by melting in a pan then crush nuts (assorted) place the nuts on foil then when jaggery has all "melted" then just pour over the nuts, let go cold then just eat .

Have never used jaggery but sometimes have used some jiggery pokery  ::)

i always fry my jiggery pokery for 2 mins until gently browning !  ;D
