Title: Hello from Nuneaton
Post by: CamoAl on April 11, 2009, 09:40 AM
Hi I am Al from Nuneaton.

I am really glad I found this site as the info is great. I have been stuggling till now to find info in BIR curries.

I am used to cooking, but curries are quite a recent thing for me.  I a mate is coming round tonight and I am cooking Bhuna (Curry king recipie) and a CKM. (another recipe I found on the forum).

I am also making onion bhajis. (just following the recipie on the gram flor packet). I was going to make nans as well but decided it would take up too much of our valuble drinking time, so bought some from an indian supermarket.

I will let you know how it goes.

Hi from a fellow new boy. I'm not far from you in Barwell.

Do you ever go to any restaurants in Hinckley? Any favourites?

I was first introduced to indian curries in Hinckley.  We used to have a tradition on new years eve of seeing the new year in and then having a curry (can't remember the name of the restaurant).

I do like the Simla on the way into Hinckley, does a really good meal.
