Hi everyone, :)
Just stumbled across this brilliant looking site while 'googling' for an authentic Chinese curry recipe. So I can blame you for stopping me in tracks ... ;D
Think I'll be popping in quite often now ...

welcome to cr0. you will not be disappointed ;) any questions you have ask and we willtry to get back to you as soon as we can. there is a wealth of experience here and many friendly peeps who are all mad about bir curries, some have had demonstrations at real restaurants and spoken to many chefs for the answers we all seek.

I don't have a particular favourite curry as I absolutely adore them all .... apart from Vindaloos (waaayyy too hot for me) and Kormas (think it's a cheek to call that a curry).
My preference is for Indian, but I also have a weak spot for Chinese and Tai. I'm drooling now just thinking about them all. Will have to see if I can persuade my other half to join this forum as he's made some fantastic curries. All fresh ingredients of course including his own home made garam masala etc.

I had another look around the forum earlier and rapidly formed the opinion that I wish I'd known about it sooner. However, better late than never as they say ... :)

yes you can smell the curry here Anna but only 95% of the BIR aroma - that final 5% remains elusive!!

Hi - just thought I would introduce myself. I absolutely adore curry, like lots of other types of food as well but curry is definitely my favourite.
I was a little sceptical when I first saw this site, but I joined and have used one of the curry base recipes to make a Balti. I have to say, I'm impressed. :P it was superb.
I hope to be using lots of the recipes and tips etc from here and become and active member. Keep up the great work!!
