The Bahar in Cowes is one of the best Indian restaurant I've eaten in. It doesn't have a licence but you can take your own booze. There onion bhaji's are the best ever.
If anyone visits the Isle of Wight, I highly recommend this restaurant.

the Bahar is a dish in it's own right. u don't get it in enough places. "Garlic Chilli Bahar, a very hot dish, extensively prepared with fresh garlic and chillies in a lingering piquant sauce".
simply fantastic. hope it's on the menu there.

Haven't been there for a while due to finances, and can't remember if they do. This weekend I'm going to Cowes so I'll check. I've never had this dish but would love to give it a go.
