Would be interesting to form a curry league. Which team has the most curry eaters.
-
the baggies for me. the midlands does have the best curries though even if the football in the last 3 rd and first 3rd can be a bit annoying.
-
As my username suggests I'm a QPR fan. You must have enjoyed the last game of the season last year.

Toronto FC!

Dundee United
In 1966 and 1988, United defeated Barcelona home and away in Europe and they remain the only British side to date to achieve this in any European competition, with a record of four wins from four games.

You could try rooting for a team that achieved glory many years ago, but which has slipped into obscurity since: Reims. They're not even in Ligue 1 these days (though they could feasibly be promoted in the near future), but in the late 50's, they made it to the Champions League final twice- losing to Real Madrid both times. I'm not from Reims, by the way, and don't root for any particular club. (I follow Ligue 1 from afar here in the US, as a French-American fan.) But it would be nice to see a club with so much history rise from the dead, so to speak.
-
given there's only seanieboy and me who are obviously savvy on the subject suggest we create a CRO league next season.

QPR fan here. 'though I'm on the other side of the world and haven't seen a game of theirs since '97.
We always seem to be finishing in the middle of the Champ. table. Ah well, maybe some time we'll get back in the big league.
-
Hi BradM, always good to hear from other R's, no matter where in the world you are.
Hopefully this coming season will be the one, although been saying this for too many seasons now. :'(
-
Mate, if Burnley can do it - so can the Super Hoops.
-

Hi Jerry,
Correct, infact, that little banner that they have at the council tax stadium, should not only read "welcome to Manchester" it should be followed by "sit where you like!" ;D
Ray
-
Razor,
my best mate is same as u. he also did not take to the banner. i felt it a very friendly gesture and can never stop chuckling when i see it.
-
Hi Jerry,
I've seen a few version's since that one that make me chuckle as well hahaha

Hi Jerry,
No not on my part. But that picture (the Carlos Tevez one) if, that's the one were talking about? Well it was only up three days in Manchester. Somebody had completely paint balled it with red paint lol
Ray

-
for those interested have created a CRO fantasy football league http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/)
well yr1 of the league is done. i don't need to say how happy i am that the west brom supporters have done very well.
i'm still miffed on how well that red devil has done particularly if he was u're captain.
we need banter within the league next yr as the journey is like most things better than the arrival (well unless blue is the colour, football is the name ...).
i will set up again and hopefully we will draw in a few new managers.
-
I am with pizzaman. Today is a very good day to be a Leeds fan. I live halfway between Bradford and Leeds: pretty much the best of both worlds - decent curry 5 miles south west, a proper football team 5 miles south east. Plenty of good beer in between.
