Title: what's your favourite curry at the moment?
Post by: parker21 on February 19, 2009, 08:27 PM
hi guys/girls
thought is was about time to ask this queston again (as we have a few new members)
as we all know that chicken tikka masala is the favourite curry in the uk at the moment, but how true is that on this forum? if you were to go into a takeaway or restaurant what curry would you order or in fact cook?

personally i would cook/order a chicken vindaloo or a phall but just lately have had the munchies for a chicken chilli masala.

hope this post will inspire a miriad of newbies to post.

regards
gary :)

My recent fav is the Jalfrezi. I've started to the hankering for it. I'm also into the Jaipuri Chicken. I've just been eating Madras for so long, a change is welcome!

Madras during the week. I'm the only one that eats it.

CTM on the weekend, everyone likes that.

Now that I'm conscious of the fact I primarily rotate between two dishes, I think I will mix in a Bhuna and perhaps a Korai.

My regular is Saffron's Tiger Prawn Jalfrezi - vindaloo hot with extra chiles & extra coriander - definately addictive. :P

I use a Madras recipe but add extra hot chile powder (plus a boiled potato)

This weekend i'll be trying SnS 2008 base and Chicken Madras. All time favourite is a Jalfrezi followed by a Vindaloo. On the milder side of things, I do like a meat Passander.
