Title: Another curry kit
Post by: Yellow Fingers on May 22, 2005, 02:53 PM
Here's a link to the kit contents page of another 'restaurant style' curry kit. There's not much in it is there?

The Paprika is interesting as some of my closest clones are variations of K Dillon base mix which has the exact savory taste that my local Take-away has but missing that allusive final flavor/smell.

Hi Yellow fingers,

we've looked at this before here http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=163.0 didn't meet with much interest though.

Hi Darthphall,

Paprika does add some sweetness and a bit of body to the taste, but most advice I have had on it's use says that it is used mainly for colour (I use it),

hope this helps,

Blondie

DOH! I should have done a search of the forum first. I even remember the thread now I've looked at it. You know it wouldn't surprise me if the vendor isn't someone on this forum though!
