Here is my chicken tikka masala phal.
Yes, a hybrid I know, but I like the CTM and I like em hot lol
Excuse the pitiful coriander, its frozen stuff, I didnt have any fresh at the time.
Any comments? Good, bad or indifferent? ALL critism most heartily welcome ;)

Nice one Tamala,
Looks good,
I too often cook CTM with heat but Madras to Vindaloo is my limit,

That looks beautiful. Too hot for me too I would bet - I think a hot vindaloo is about my limit. 1 rounded tsp of TRS extra hot per portion and that's as hot as I get.
-
Hi
The sauce on that looks lovely- but way beyond my limits :P
-
Looks fantastic, I like a CTM with a bit of heat, not so sure about phall but I agree it's better with some bite.
-
Looks good T :), whats your recipe is it one from this site or your own?

Here is my chicken tikka masala phal.
I think you just invented a new dish
Looks fantastic
What's the recipe & using which base?
-
That LOOKS hot from here! Is it just a standard CTM with lots of extra chili?
-
Tamala,
a phal - you're a serious curry holic.
it's not dawned on me that you could pep a CTM up - which would be useful to me (madras portion for myself) when complying with the regular family requests for CK's CTM.
like the rest would appreciate a scan of the recipe.
real nice pic.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one :-X
It is basically a CTM with heat so you could try my CTM here:

But with the addition of some fresh chili at the garlic and ginger stage and up the chili powder to whatever you consider you can take 8)

Hey TwoBadMice.
I suspect the recipe for the chicken tika part can be found here (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=1562.0)
and I imagine the Phall recipe to be used can be found here (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=1714.0)

It would be best to stop aimlessly speculating guys ;)

Well if your alter ego, Tamala rather, would grace people with a response it would negate the need for speculation ;)

I just want that colour --- can it be done without artificial colourings??

It may be possible Chris (using natural colours...anatto, beetroot powder, etc) but I have never tried it
Here the tikka marinade has artificial colourings in it and the main dish has a little tandoori masala in it (which also contains artificial colourings)
