hi ub
is this not just another way of saying "tandoori chicken masala"- guessing that the cooked lamb mince added to the masala sauce. treat the tandoori chicken the same way as tikka in a tikka masala but adding precooked mince. just a thought

This sounds pretty unappetizing to me... mixing lamb mince with tandoori chicken in masala sauce...

hi josh
i had a taste of a balti chicken with mince9 used to be on the specialities) and it was fantastic. the lamb mince just gives a different texture. so don't knock it till you have tried it mate.

This used to be quite the norm with Chicken Tikka Masala years ago,,
to have a little minced lamb in the dish,
especially up north,

I hear you TikkaMik and Gary. Its surely on the "must try to appreciate list". Just a mental block I guess on mixing multiple meats (textures and flavours) in a curry. The closest I get to that is a Tandoori mixed grill!

I live near Tamworth and Murgh Keema Jalfrezi from my local takeaway is magic. Basically its a Tandoori Chicken Jalfrezi with keema mince added. Probably sounds a bit iffy but believe me it really hits the spot. I suspect thi is the dish youre after.
