Do you mean authentic Indian dish or genuine British Indian Restaurant (BIR) dish?
-
Hi billycat
Welcome to the forum.
You'll need to decide on a base to use first. Then once you've made a base, go onto picking a curry recipe to go with it.
There are a number of bases on the forum but I recommend you read this thread first

Regards
SnS ;)

sorry bobby
i meant to add BIR

Hi Billycat,
Welcome to cr0 ;)

go for the saffron base to start with (simple & good). u can reduce the oil substantially if u feel a need on your 1st go.

make a madras using the parker21 method,

http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,2100.msg17943.html#msg17943
It is really nice and easy to make ;D
-
Thanks for pointing this out bitchinsahsa. :) This recipe will get lost as its on the back of another recipe and the typo "Cicken" will make it difficult to search for.. so I'm going to repost it.
Done click here (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,2682.msg23818/topicseen.html#msg23818/) for new thread... have to say looks good might have to try this one weekend
-
Hmmmm, it is good. You should def try it. I would make it myself this weekend but too many curries have taken a toll on the old waist line so having to cut back and be good. Hopefully it won't be long until I can indulge again ;D ;D
