Title: caramelized red onion chutney

Hello All,

I'm looking for an easy way to make some caramelized red onion chutney if anyone has
any good ideas.

Is that a BIR thing? I can't say I've ever seen anything like that.

Hi,

I use this and always get raves at curry nights..

2 finely chopped onions
cover with tomato sauce
1/2 to 1 teaspoon chilli powder..suit to taste
1-2 tbs mint sauce
i know frowned upon by many here but i use some red food colour as well
dash lemon juice

not sure if this helps,but works for me
 :)
