I borrowed these photos from the Rajpoot website here: http://www.rajpoot.com/welcome.htm (http://www.rajpoot.com/welcome.htm) and I hope they don't object to the free advertising!
I've eaten here and very nice food it was too! Lovely setting too! 8)
I thought it might be informative to see what interesting things there are to spot in a typical BIR kitchen? :P
-
I can spot what looks like:
- "Aromat" seasoning on the top right shelf?
- Jars of commercial tikka paste on the top left shelf?
- Ha ha! a can of Heinz baked beans next to them! :o
- Tinned potatoes on the middle of the shelf?
- Fresh chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander (?), lemons and lettuce
- Cast iron or mild steel (seasoned) woks/karahis?
- Aluminium frying pans?
- An aluminium stock pot?
- Big tub of ghee in the green and white container?
- Several litres of milk
- Jars of Ferns (?) whole spices?
- A clear plastic container of reclaimed oil?
- 4 chefs treading on each other's toes :P
Can anyone else spot anything or make other observations?
-
i can add a couple
big jar of Colman's Mustard
bag of Sugar
-
Yes
jars of Colman's Mustard but x2 with
what looks like diffrent contents than mustard ?
I can also see a rubber chicken, a couple of old
car tyres, a bell and what could be a chef going
to kill you ! Oh some teeth now thats a good sign.

Is that a bottle of wine in the last photo?
That is definitely my secret ingredient to making a good curry ::)
Merry Xmas one and all.

You did well.Next time act like a spy and not take photos of people but zoom in behind them and concentrate on the goods.only 3 photos!!? Should have let the digital camera do its stuff and you would have had the kitchen well sorted out.Excellent try though.Lets see if any one can do better at their local.I dont have a local any more so i cant help out.Only one indian that is crap in my australian town.Only worth a runner from. You might have started a good thing here.

Could we get into trouble for doing this,
should we blot out faces etc.

They are in the public domain on a website so no, you don't have to blot out faces.
They can only gain from the free publicity so very unlikely to complain. ;)

I have digitally altered the photo.... ;D
-
Good but still no rubber chicken.
I toyed with photoshop but gave up
because its too complicated for a
first time user like me.
have a nice Christmas everyone.
