Title: onion culture naan bread
Post by: chipfryer on October 20, 2007, 11:54 AM
Nowhere can I find a recipe for this. I'm sure its pretty simple as regards the stuffing but would like to know if anyone has a recipe for this?

Many thanks.

Do you mean "Kulcha Naan" CF?

If so, fry some onions (with cumin seeds, garlic and a pinch of garam masala...and finally mix in a little fresh coriander if you wish) in ghee (or oil if you wish) and add some to  the centre of the ball of dough before shaping it into a naan.  Otherwise, simply press some of the mixture into the surface of the naan before cooking.

Wotcha CA.

I've just found my Naan recipe. (I have loads) Worked out just fine using a bread mixer and rose to triple the size.  :o

Hopefully I am stuffing these after finding a basic stuffing recipe and will post images and results this week. Come on you Cumin seeds!  ;D
Thanks for the reply.
