just snaps of the evolution of the base at the mo' but it will continue as soon as ive knocked up a batch of the Madras (Wednesday i reckon, who could wait any longer with a batch of base just GAGGING to be used?)

that base looks incredibly yellow, is it just the picture or was it really that colour?

yeah it really was that yellow, i even used less turmeric than the recipe as i ran out of it. :(

Yes, you're not wrong. It's strange though because I made Darth's base quite a while ago and it definitely came out brown. Has it been altered recently as I notice there's no tomato used in the base and it's this that makes the base brown?

Many of the bases I have tried on here do come out a shade of yellow when blended and most do contain toms, not sure why it is.
