Title: Spreading the word
Post by: davidandbess on February 21, 2007, 04:37 AM
Hi everyone, as some of you are aware I now reside in the US of A and the lack of decent indian food here unbelievable, anyway I posted a topic in the
chowhound.com website singing the praises of this site and the real curry site, so hopefully you might see an influx of ex-pats and indeed Americans to this site.

Nice one!

I also put a link back to cr0 in my signature on other forums, it's surprising how many people it attracts.

Thanks for this guys, we now come up in the top 4 websites for "curry recipes" when searching on Google so the traffic is coming in all the time.

I think you will find that the issue is any new members are just overloaded with info when they first arrive and it takes probably 2 months before they start to ask questions.

Maybe we should put up a new Board for Trainee Chefs to ask question in, so they have a place to start.
In fact i will do that today, what do you think?

Hi Stew,

I think that is a great idea and will give newbies a better starting point.  CQ
