It is probably at least six weeks, and maybe more, since I last made and cooked seekh kebabs, but the hotel needed to evict some of my minced lamb from a hotel freezer so I ended up making seekh kebabs this evening. My starting point was Syed's recipe, but when I read my transcript I knew immediately that I had made some changes, so sought out and used my updated version. But I didn't read it thoroughly

Very odd. The post above just stops in the middle. What I had intended to write was that whilst I read the ingredients, I did not read the method (thinking that I knew it), and blitzed the lamb mix in my 2kW jug blender rather than mixing it in the Kenwood Major using a K-blender as I should have done. Total disaster, nearly burnt out the 2kW jug blender, and ended up with more of a paste than anything resembling raw kebab mix. Ah well, lesson learned — next time read all of a recipe, not just the bits you think you need !

It was all there originally Phil.

"Curiouser and curiouser !", cried Alice.

Yes, I remember seeing the whole thing originally too...

Yes, the whole monologue was definitely all there. Thirty minutes of my life I'll never get back :owsome:

It took less than five minutes to write, Garp, so if it took you thirty minutes to read I would suggest making enquiries at your local adult education centre as to whether you qualify for remedial reading lessons ...

I had to stop to look up the dictionary a lot.
