Title: Dill in curries
Post by: chonk on June 16, 2020, 07:47 AM
Did you ever try this out? To be honest, you won't find many recipes with dill.

Makes me wonder a bit, just tried this out yesterday. Some fried garlic, mixed vegs. Used base + Makhani gravy, bit turmeric, GM and dried methi.Finished with the fresh dill, stirred again and served. Pretty good, pretty distinct flavour. Will keep experimenting.

No, but I often think along those lines, although not with dill.  I suspect that I have often considered incorporating samphire, and one or two other herbs that would not be found in the sub-continent but which might nonetheless go well with a curry, but somehow or other I never actually get around to doing it.  Galangal is another possibility.
