It comes in various forms. The one on which I was weaned (and can now find nowhere) is a whole spring chicken, stuffed with minced lamb and whole boiled eggs, and delicately but effectively spiced. Is this in any way similar to the dish that you have recently experienced ?

Hmm, no eggs! And it wasn't stuffed, it was just mince and bone-in chicken with capsicum and onion in a curry sauce together. It was also beef!
