A small frozen (350g) Chicken Jalfrezi for a whopping ?7.25 and that's before delivery (goodness only knows what that costs) and a minimum order quantity of ?25? Noon Products no doubt spare no expense creating the very best chilled food they can for M&S and others and at a fraction of these prices. Frozen equivalents are normally much cheaper in the supermarkets. I simply don't see how the Bradford business model is feasible unless you have money to burn or live a hundred miles away from the nearest BIR.

I charge ?5.00 for a (minimum) 350g Jalfrezi, actually they are usually slightly higher weights. In fact I charge ?5.00 for all my chicken dishes. The Lamb and Beef are slightly higher and vary because the red meat prices keep on soaring. I charge ?2.50 for all 350g veggies and ?2.00 for side portions. I just charge a quid for rice. I don't charge for delivery because they come to me.

No prawn madras.....

Only fresh made to order (it doesn't freeze well) ;D ;D ;D Actually Stew if you cook fish stuff regularly you have to go through another set of hoops with the H&H people, same goes if you do a lot of veggie stuff.

No of course not Chilli. I still think on a wholesale buisness side, Shani ready made curries are the best around our area, flavour and price wise. i.e. 350grm Chicken Vindaloo only 3.30 gbp. Pillau rice 1.20 gbp. Perhaps there is an opening in the market up here for you Eh. [ MAJOR DISCOUNT FOR A MATE } ;D ;D ;).

Thats good then. Yep major discounts for mates ;D. The Shani price is good, but do you know how much meat they put in (weight & number/size of pieces)? These people usually use rolled (pumped up) chicken which holds the water and makes them look bigger and heavier. Just don't ask what is pumped in them ::)
