Hi William, try this one as it's a well know dish from Kerala. Just add as much chilli as required.

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to get a recipe for this curry? I don't like coconut so wouldn't make the curry that was suggested. This is my favorite curry and I cannot find a recipe for it anywhere.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
Thanks for looking, I appreciate it. I feel like this is the curry that I am just not going to be able to find a recipe for >:(
I think I may have to go to my local Indian Restaurant and see if they will show me how to make it, although don't know if they would?

Here's one I lifted from UKFDI, it sounds like what you are after. please report back if you try it.

Hi Secret Santa,
Thanks for that, I will need to give it a go.
Still don't think it is quite the curry though as the one I am looking for is brown in colour with lots of sliced garlic and quartered chilli's in it. It also needs something more than the chilli and garlic if added to a basic curry but I just don't know what it is!

Hey guys,
Anyone who is having a demo anytime soon, it would be REALLY appreciated if you could get the recipe for this curry. I absolutely love it and can't find a recipe anywhere :(
-
this dish sounds very similar to the one i'm trying to find (see post "Sylheti Recipe - anyone got a good one?".
the sylheti does not have the 1/4 chillies in but everything else is the same - brown colour with plenty of sliced garlic that has been fried. i know that the sylheti is based on a bhuna but i'm stuck on as to what else is in it.
hope this helps anyhow.
