Thanks for posting. Very professional video there CAB. I've never tried monkfish, let alone in a curry. But the end result certainly looks like a restaurant quality dish. Did it taste as good as it looked? And the music certainly got me in the mood for my vindaloo a later this evening ;D

Hi curryhell it tastes ok but I spoiled it just a little by over doing the lime! monk fish is probably the best fish for a curry being a very firm fish it doesn't fall to pieces as easy like other fish ! Glad you like my video though

Fish curry is becoming very popular now in a lot of India restaurant here in Sheffield one of the major chain restaurants Aagrah have a dedicated glass fronted fridge of various fresh fish including monk fish salmon basa etc ! You select your choice of fish from the fridge and the waiters takes it into the kitchen to be cooked has anyone else seen this in their favourite restaurant

Very professionally done Bob Am still struggling with photo formats here.As you say mingling lends itself to curry dishes, being pretty solid.I found doing a basic fish curry I had to keep an eye on it,to stop it going solid.Haven't been on the forum as her indoors has developed a nasty form of ......,so has mild type of food.
