Hi, very pleased I found the web site. I'm a retired systems engineer who fears his taste buds are failing. I dont know if this is sacrilege but I did love Sharwoods Bhut Jolokia curry sauce which is now discontinued. I have tried to recreate this curry from different recipes on the web but all fail dismally. Its the combination of heat and spice that made it taste good, not just raw heat. So can anyone put me on the path to nirvana and recreate that sauce (or go better maybe)?
I hope to contribute one day but have to admit Im a rubbish cook so far.

Phil you may be rubbish at cooking but the more you cook the better you become - there are some great recipes on here - and very knowledgeable members - as far as your Bht Jolokia goes Madrasandy may be able to help on that one ! Lets hope eh !

Welcome Phil, unfortunately I have never tasted Sharwoods Bhut Jolokia curry sauce, so have no way of knowing how it tasted for comparrison , Im sure that anything you cook from here will be far tastier than a cook in sauce.
