Title: Phall for Supper
Post by: chewytikka on July 11, 2015, 12:42 AM
Phall for Supper

Chicken Tikka in a smooth Extra Hot BIR style sauce.
Chipped Jersey Royals and Gujarati Samosas on the side.

The kicker on the sauce, is flavoured with Garlic paste, fresh green chilli paste, hydrated red birdseye chillis (paste),
touch of Kashmiri chilli powder and my mix powder.
With a drizzle of Naga oil to finish off.

Sweat on.
cheers Chewy

bubbling nicely, waiting for the chips

The quality of the cooking really shines through from the photos, Chewy.
Think I might need a few cold ones on hand to tackle the Phall though! :)

Nice to see a curry with plenty of sauce for a change. I was starting to think I was alone in liking as much sauce as meat.

What's in a Gujarati samosa that's not in a standard one.?

Thanks guys ;)

My chilli levels are fairly high, a Madras/Vindaloo are normal,
but its nice to cook that random tongue tickler sometimes.

Sverige
Madras, Vindaloo, Phall are all about the sauce, much more sauce than meat and
not cooked bhunao style.

Vegetarian Samosas, with taste and texture of lamb and peas.
I think there

I love lots of sauce with a curry, sometimes only eating one piece of the chicken but dipping up all the sauce. That is defo up my street Chewy. Great looking food  :-*
