Should be interesting I'll start it off!
Sheffield Wednesday.
-
This will end up being the CRo version of 'Celtic or Rangers?!'...
-
Is "none" an acceptable answer ? I was nine years of age when I watched the only football match I have ever seen (England v. West Germany, Schoolboys International, "somewhere darn sarf"), and almost sixty years have passed since then, during none of which have I wanted to repeat the experience !

"None" for me, too. I can't understand the appeal, unless there was a riot in the the crowd, or something like that, to make it more interesting.

No, even /I/ know that there is no football team called "London". Do you mean "London Crystal Palace", "London Charlton", "London Millwall", "London Tottenham", "London Arsenal", or all London teams put together ?!

Ah, what memories that brings back, from a time when my parents did the football pools and listened to the results on the wireless : "Hamilton Academicals three; Heart of Midlothian nil". The result was always known in advance, from the pitch contour used to deliver the home team's score.

Lol yes. James Alexander Gordon perfected that style. It could be difficult if it was a draw though.
-
Yes that would have been the late James Alexander Gordon he was renowned
for doing that on the wireless.
-
You beat me to it Garp
-
Sorry Bob.
That would be Garp one (high pitch) - Bob nil (low pitch) :)
-
Ha ha I liked listening to him unless our boys had lost! It's Charlotte green now she's ok! She also does or did the shipping forecast
Not that I listen to it! but it use to come on the wireless when I was a kid.
-
You may wish to edit that, Bob :)

Hi Deadbeat I was watching this a few days ago debate about about the state of or current pitch! But it's not that bad compared to this footage! Anyway we are having a new one laid in the close season
