Stu, FYI I havent been able to login to cr0 for over a week. when I hit the forum I just got an error 'invalid request variable', it was only after talking to pete over email I realised it wasnt down.

In the end I had to clear out all cookies, history etc from the browser to get back in and its working now.

Hiya Mark J,

Yep there a few issues going on regarding images and downloadable docs, also some threads wont open for me when i am logged in, very strange.

I will probably do an upgrade of the forum in the next week or so, maybe that will solve the issue.

In the meantime, we'll have to keep plodding along.

Hi Stew, I am having frequent problems with posting replies, they either indicate they have gone (but haven't) or the site access crashes as soon as I hit 'Post'.  I clear my cookies automatically every time I power down (Wnodows Washer) so i don't think cookies are the main issue.

Keep up the good work and the great site

I have to keep logging in & putting in my password as it seems to be saving an incorrect one, i changed it in the hope to refreshing the info & sorting the prob, but still not right.
Cheers.

Hi Stew,

I'm trying to post a recipe with photos to illustrate the method.  Unfortunately (yet again!), the pages will not load with the photos attached.   The page simply freezes and I have to log back in again.  This is the case even with only one 700 x 525 photo of 300kB size.  What do you suggest I do regarding "plodding along" please????

PS:  Sad, I know, but I've spent the best part of an afternoon putting this recipe and photo illustrations together......'er in doors is well 'appy of course!  :P

Regards,

Cory Ander,

You can host the pics off Cr0 whilst we get it sorted out, just go to http://imageshack.us/ and upload the photo, then copy and past the link to the photo into the new post you are making then people can view the photos.

Hopefully this will keep you going.
I am still working on fixing the issues.

Stew

Thanks for your prompt reply Stew,

I'll just wait until you've managed to fix the problem....any idea how long this is likely to be?  About a couple of weeks is it?

You won't ban me if I delete these posts will you?   :P  ;)

Regards,

Cory

I agree with Stew here, I always link my pictures to a picture site like imageshack, photobucket etc using the [img*][/img*] tags instead of uploading on the forum itself, as this keeps forum traffic to a minimum and generally speeds everything up for everyone.  ;)
