Moderating only - but definitely put on probation.

I voted moderating only, but I think he should resign and make it easy on himself.
Then get on with cooking curries !!!!!!!!!!

With considerable regret, yes, from moderating.  But I also agree with MA -- an resignation would allow George to surrender his moderator's baton with honour, and is therefore to be preferred.

Do we still burn Mod's at the stake, or is that illegal now ;D

No chance. Do you seek to change my personaility or want me to just go along with what everyone else thinks, in order to 'blend in'. Moreover, you appear to dislike my wish to defend myself from false accusations, e.g. about forum messages, or having another ID called DC. If the number of attacks on me is reduced, or eliminated, I won't need to respond. For example, nobody has complained that Onions has an outrageous footer, attacking me, and appearing nearly 700 times on all his posts. Why should any member need to live with a hatred-filled footer like that? And yet you want to throw me out and keep Onions, presumably. It says it all. We need a 3 strikes rule so that people like Onions either start behaving, or are struck-off, so they don't hang around with a long term grudge against the moderator(s).

Face facts George, you're not wanted as a moderator any longer. Its really pointless trying to deflect what the majority of posters are asking. Hatred filled footer you say  :o, it just proves that you are not really cut out for the job.

And as for

You're clutching at straws

I've changed my mind. Boot him from the site. He drags this forum further down with every utterance.

To the question of the thread topic. Simple answer is NO, or at least not because some may think he should be.  Only Admin can make that decision.

It's always someone else isn't it George, you are always the victim.

With your antics George you've had many more than 3 strikes, so just go.

So you approve of Onions hatred-filled, footer then?

I certainly don't think its hatred filled or outrageous.

No but it is certainly very directed, aimed, intended and whatever else fits.  Remember that offense is taken and not given, even if it was intended.

Yes, only Stu. can make that decision.  But ordinary members such as you and I are free to express our opinion.  That is our democratic right.

Well that's a constructive and helpful contribution onions. Not.

Using the phrase 'constructive and helpful contribution' in the context of defending Geo is perhaps a non sequitur, livo.

I can hear the shouts of "CA is back" already but i can live with that.  I am beginning to feel as though I work for HMP as I seem to be on a bit of a lockdown mission at the moment.  Those members that chose to participate in this thread and / or in the other related thread have had their say.  I feel there is nothing to be gained by the posting of any further remarks.  Are there any objections to this and the other thread being locked?
