Evening all,
Kind of stumbled upon your forum whilst googling recipes for Takeaway Style Curries. I am fed up of the bland supermarket bought jars and want to start making my own. Don't have that much kitchen knowledge, but I can learn and I can follow instructions. I have my self a Daba tin with some wonderful spices to get me going.
I'm from Lincolnshire (Lincoln to be precise), and love to go out for a good curry with mates every now and again. Fave places, if this is allowed are: The Gate Of India in Market Rasen (20 mins outside of Lincoln), The Castle Gate Indian (now down Lincoln High Street) and the Mowgli (20 mins south of Lincoln in Metheringham.
Although I love being cooked for with amazing foods (im salivating right now thinking about it) it can get expensive so I'd like to try and replicate the best I can at home.
Anyway, I am off to explore and hopefully will get into some discussions soon.
Cheers for now.
Jim.

Welcome Jim. Get stuck in mate. Won't be long before you start creating dishes similar to those found in a BIR. Keep us posted on how you get on ;)
