Also perhaps worth applying some perspective correction if you can, so that the cylinder of the bottle looks like a cylinder on-screen rather than a frustrum of a cone.

I love the square-shape, uniform, jars.  Are they recycled from something, or purpose-bought ?

Are they available mail-order, do you know, or did you have to go somewhere to physically buy them ?

Your welcome! Type square jars into eBay I've just done so plenty to go at! Mine are 90mm high x 60mm square.

Yes they are good little jars I have got some of that type from ikea ! the reason I changed is because the lids are flat and you can write on them better with the square ones. but you must stick with them if your daughter bought them for you.

Bob where did you manage to source your Pran Satkora from in the end? It seems to be rarer than hen's teeth on the internet.  :-\

I could not get anyone to post any from the internet eventually I called into a store in attercliffe in Sheffield call banglabazzar and to my surprise they had it in stock it took 2 weeks to find some though. It's very tangy and hot! I was gonna use hot lime pickle untill I found it! I have plans for tomorrow evening to make a curry will add 3x TSP.

Thanks for the reply bob. Would you say that there is an alternative, a replacement for it, now that you've tasted it? Is there any other pickle, etc., that comes close?

I would go for the hot lime pickle that's the nearest in my opinion I think it's fairly similar! And with a bit of endeavour you will eventually locate some.

Thanks bob. I love lime pickle in all its incarnations so that's good news. But I live in a tiny backwater. There's more chance of me snagging a brace of grouse than a jar of Pran Satkora Pickle.  ;D
