Title: NEW TO SITE - WHAT IS BE SPICE MIXTURE

I'm following a recipe requires BE spice mixture, am I being really daft by not knowing what this is?  I've tried searching the site with no joy.  Can someone please help?  thanks

Hiya mate, BE = Bruce Edwards

The Bruce Edwards spice mix recipe is:

8 parts coriander powder
7 parts tumeric powder
5 parts cumin powder
4 parts curry powder
4 parts paprika (optional)

I've been using this mix for years - I don't include the optional paprika. You'll find if you compare this with other spice mixes is that a lot use the same basic ingredients albeit in differing proportions.
