Made a beautiful curry last night, using a slight variation on Admin Jalfrezi recipe , jb base and the Jigsaw chilli (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD0OFqThkPw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD0OFqThkPw)) and Jb base as always :)
Got to say the heat was very good , a nice slow build up that lasted for a good amount of time, but the curry was just so moreish, I ate it all straight from the pan didn't hardly eat the rice, just wanted the curry, even the Mrs said it was amazing taste, but after a few minutes she said its the hottest thing shes eaten and it is getting hotter ;)

Stew

Cheers Stew, just made it again but used a Scotch Bonnet in place of the superhot, beautiful again, wife and step-daughter demolished it, as did I , a little mild for me though ;)

Looks lovely and fresh, MA! I could see a naan wrapped around some of that! :)

Wow!! Lovely glossy sheen, veggies look like they still have crunch, looking fantastic MA :)
-
Yep still a little bite in the veg Loup

That looks superb MA. I do like a jalfrezi with a bit of bite to the veggies.
Did you stick to Stews recipe pretty well, or what did you change?

Mick, I pretty much stuck to the Stews recipe (HERE (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,2664.msg23549.html#msg23549)), apart from the chillis ;), green pepper not yellow, tom puree instead of fresh as I had none, Abdul 8 spice mix powder, and my base was watered down so just added base and not water , cheers
Edit - also added a squirt of lemon dressing
-
Thanks for that MA. Think I will give it a try when I'm next in the kitchen
Regards
Mick
