Title: Hi from the Isle of Wight
Post by: bobbyboyyy on October 26, 2014, 10:04 AM
Hi all,

Very excited to have found this site purely by accident. I love cooking curry but confess I'm purely by the book, so have no knowledge to impart. I am looking forward to gaining invaluable knowledge here 😃

Welcome Bob, do you have a favourite curry you'd love to replicate?

Welcome to the journey Bobbyboyyy.  Ths site is a mine of info and there are a good few on here who "know their stuff" and practice it rather than just talk it. Ignore the critics and enjoy all this uni has to offer  ;)  And plenty of curry porn to drewel over too  :P

Have you tried the curry from the Ryde Tandoori (near the top of the High St on the left going down?) I quite like it. Good old-fashioned Bangladeshi BIR style.
Welcome anyway.

Welcome Bobby. Hope you have fun.

I've been here nearly a year and have no knowledge to impart; but I learn a lot and have a laugh in the process.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I don't have a particular favourite and I have tried a few on the island. I find them all good. This is such a great site  :)
