All looks good Andy. Looking at the poppadoms makes me wish I'd kept my album rack from the 70's. Also your kitchen looks tidier than mine. Mine usually looks like someones just put a banger in the curry.
And the red chopping board is for raw meat, not vegetables. ::)
-
That would be the other side of the red chopping board you are referring to!
At one point it was a bomb site, onions mix powder and tomatoes all over the floor, the hob was sandblasted with curry, I thought I had pictures but for some reason my phone doesn't save everything.
Great fun had by all !
-
Bloody hell Andy I'm frothing at the mouth here :P all ya food looks ficking delicious bud!!
Well done now relax for the day :)

Hi MA what recipe did you use for the Naga Masala, looks great.
-
Morning UF it is basically made up as I go along using leftover ingredients from the other curries. It was hot but not as hot as I normally make it, basically it was
Good handful of chopped red and white onions and green pepper ,6Tb veg oil, with 2ts garlic, 2ts ginger, 2tb green chilli paste, 3 chef spoon blended toms, 1 ts naga masala seasoning, 1 ts naga chilli powder, 1 ts Deggi mirch, ,1ts abdul 8spice mix powder, 1 dried naga bhut jolokia (rehydrated in water then sliced), 1/2 ts all purpose seasoning, coriander.
All cooked in the usual way, it produced what I and 2 others thought was the tastiest curry, once you got used to the heat. Some were scared to try it though, but it wasnt as hot as I have had before and all the more tasty for it

See the energy drink there too eh! ;)

MA did you use any of Chewy's recipes.
Yes mate I did this but time was against me to turn it into the Rogan, so I just made the first stage, very nice it was too.
MA
Do a Medium Chicken Curry (No Chilli Powder or just a touch)
Then do the same again but turn it into a Rhogan with a Tomato Top.
Watch my video recipe, to get the idea. ;)

Good luck with it, have fun.

All looks very authentic, MA, and tasty with it. Wouldn't mind some of that feast right now! :)
-
Yep Naga, I could certainly eat some now my senses have returned :)
-
Great stuff Andy! Bhuna and naga look particularly impressive. Naan always look great. Knocked up some base and pre-cooks over the weekend. Plan is for a madras or two, but I also quite fancy a mega hot nose-dribbler curry at some point; might leave it until the week-end. Keep up the good work.
Rob :)

Cheers Rob,
The naga bhut jolokia chilli powder, chilli masalla seasoning and the dried chillis are fantastic, give a very good heat and a excellent flavour, highly recommended :)
-
That all looks amazing. :o
I am sure you were pretty knackered during/ after. I know I am when I do all my weekend curries hence the energy drink!
I noticed you use the ginger paste from home bargains, I do too along with their garlic paste as well. Its handy and pretty cheap too.
Can't wait to see your next efforts:)
