Testing out Jb's Base,Test Madras.
Very pleasing result with a flavour in line with my local TA, In fact it's hard to make a decision on my preference. :)
Good news indeed.
Photo of a Madras in Chef pan with Chef spoon, just to avoid confusion ;D
Tasty looking. You like your Madras quite runny... same here.
Yep can't beat a nice bit so sauce to mop up with Naan :)
Looks great there lc, madras has to be a thinnish sauce to go with the rice and as you say to mop up with the garlic nan breads at the end ;) damn your pic is making me hungry again
Is there a chicken shortage in your area :) :) :) :).

Maybe the pan and spoon are really large and that each piece of chicken is really a breast :o

How many curries are you cooking today?
Hi Andy cooking for 20 today :'( been prepping since 8 this morning and 3 hours last night, think I'm on top of things now. I hope !!
Just cooked a mound of Pilau that I will turn in to mushroom rice this afternoon, rice is perfect so that's a great start.
Chicken tikka is marinated on skews, indian salads are made.
I will now individually cook 20 portions of madras and add to one cooking pot so the flavour is consistent, spicing not to heavy. I can heat in oven then portion out without any delay :)
Naan dough is ready and rising like the sun, I will try and photo it if I get time.
Knackered .
Ha Russ I bet you are knackered, 20 madras's if all your garlic tomato chilli are all prepped and spices at the ready it should take you , what about 2 1/2-3 hours, good luck! Ill have madras number 5 please, dont want madras number 1 or number 20 :D
Can I have Madras number 7 and naan number 4 please :)
Hey guys wrong! All the prep and cooking took around 5 hours :'( not including the time to cook the base or time for Naan to rise and rest.
Photos are up in appropriate place so check it out, it was a great day of food and drink and I can still type on my iPad ;)
