fine looking food!

Looks a treat, Andy (apart from that horrible green stuff) ;D
I realise that is for photo purposes and you wouldn't actually infect such a lovely curry by eating that.
-
looks great. I take it that is breast meat? What have you guys got against sweet and tasty thigh meat?
-
Nowt wrong we thigh meat, use it all the time, sometimes on the bone, sometimes off ;D

My base mate

looks very tasty. What recipe did you use?
-
Its my own recipe Donnie, nothing too dissimilar to most recipes, but it works for me. I shall post it up later for anyone thats interested :)
-
That looks delicious Andy. I would defo be interested in your base. I am currently making my 7th batch of Zaal base and I am very happy with the results but am interested now to try others to see the difference side by side in the finished dish.
How long do you set the colours in your rice and what brand of colour do you use as mine always seems to bleed a little and I woould be so happy if it looked like yours :)
Cheers Andy, Lou :D

Hi Lou, my colourings are just little tubs of dry powder colour from the indian shop, not sure what make they are, the labels have come off. I just mix them with very little water and put the rice in a low oven for 15 minutes for the colour to set.
My base recipe is posted up mate

Brill, cheers Andy :)
