Really well done Lou, all looks excellent. 8)
Did you precook the Chicken?
Did you double up, or cook single portion dishes?
What keema recipe did you use for the shami, I could eat one right now! :P
Questions, Questions ;D
cheers Chewy

Cheers Chewy,
I always put the uncooked chicken in the base and simmer that while I am doing the onions/ spices etc. (Because we never eat it straight away I dont like to pre cook, then recook and then re heat so the saucepan method works best for me)
I use 350 ml base per curry but that would feed me 3 small portions as I like to have all the extras (naan, starters etc)
I made 4 seperate curries using 350 ml each as My husband likes it milder and then they just got hotter lol.
The Shami recipe is H4ppyLeader (Chris) from Youtube tutorial "How to make Lamb kebab. Indian takeaway recipe"

Couldn't have done any of it without all you guys' efforts over the years!
THANK YOU!

Wicked spread there, I bet it was hard work.
I done the same for my sister a few years back and it was a good day cooking but the warming thanks made it worth it.
-
I make them a takeaway every Fri or Sat night since about Feb this year. They had a bigger spead yesterday though and it fed them last night and tonight.
Like you say Geezah, hard work but worth it :)
-
That looks a quality spread! And a bit of breakfast the next day ;) cheers!

Hi, I use the Zaal base recipe http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=8871.0 (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=8871.0)
Abduls 8 spice mix http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,6176.0.html (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,6176.0.html)
and I use a recipe for Chicken madras from Andy Rhodes e-book (CRO -based on 976 bars madras) with a few tweeks from me such as added star anise at the beginning etc
:)
