Title: chicken tikka

I knocked up some chicken tikka yesterday,my wife had a friend round so I thought I'd fire up my tandoori oven and cook it in that.

It was lovely,better in fact than most tikka I get from places these days,which I find increasingly bland and tasteless.My wife agreed,and her friend actually thought I'd got it from a restaurant! The Pasco pastes I used are definitely far superior to Patak's,I know for a fact one of my local takeaways use them.

Looks great jb.  Been meaning to try Pasco.  Haven't seen any shops hereabouts that stock them.  I'll have to make some enquiries.

Nice one jb.  At half the price of Pataks i'll be picking some up from Barking  ;D  Need any more tej patta   ;)

No thanks mate,slowly working my way through them! Quite proud of them in fact I always show the bags to guests...they do give me funny looks!!

The things we do all in the cause of producing quality home BIR  ::)  I too have been known to get the occasional funny look  :-X
