Title: Pran Naga Pickle as an ingredient.
Post by: chewytikka on January 05, 2014, 03:10 PM
Warning
Pran Naga Pickle has eventually arrived in my local Asian store
Been wanting to try this since Bengali Bob told us about it.
Whoa, my tongue recoiled like a tortoise head, back in its shell.
Instant sweat on, whole mouth numbness for ages, a bit like Novocaine at the dentist.

I made a Chicken Tikka Naga for supper, 1 tsp went in and what a different curry.
I've been using Mr.Naga for 20 odd years and love it.

The Pran has the same Naga flavour, but something extra in the way it gives a kind of fruity
taste to the sauce and stays there to the last mouthful.

Extremely good and gets my recommendation ;)
cheers Chewy

Hi Chewy

Does it still contain the banned colouring?
