Title: New to all this/need some help

Hi All, new to all this or maybe just a bit thick, but once you have a curry base you are happy with, how do you know what spices to add to your base to get the finished article i.e. Madras, Rogan Josh, etc etc.any help would be great thanks. Lplatecook.

Loads of recipes in the recipe sections Lplate.  If you get bogged down with these recommend starting here, with the madras sauce recipe, for example. Universally accepted as some of the best recipes around.

Very sound advice there from Rob.  Also, try reading the posts from other new members in the introduction section of the forum where they have asked the same question as yourself.  You will find many helpful replies there too.  Good luck on your journey.  Work on your technique just as much as as worrying about the recipes though  ;)
