Excellent spot! Pity I bought it at full price!
Anyway, it's a good read with some useful info between the covers. The only thing I would say is that it's very difficult to read on a monochrome Kindle due to the colours used in the eBook. However, once the DRM protection has been removed, it's full colour splendour is revealed and it's an absolute delight to read on a tablet or PC.
At 99p, it's a steal!
-
For 99p, that was indeed excellent value. No idea what it might look like on a physical Kindle, but on my "Kindle for PC" it seems just great. Many thanks for the link. (I find it very depressing that I can't print selected pages, though ...).

I'm in France and hence the Amazon licensing is different. The price is still 17 euro. Does anyone have any idea if I can get someone in th UK buy it, then 'lend' it too me? Probably won't work.
-

I have " Kindle titles for your country are not available at Amazon.co.uk.
Please shop for Kindle titles at Amazon.fr."
-
It's weird, because I live in Switzerland and could buy it yesterday night for 99p on Amazon.co.uk without any problem.
-
Some info and suggestions here Fried.

That is almost certainly illegal under EU law. Take Amazon to the European Court of Justice.

And today, Achilles ?

It seems that today too it's working fine.
-
Thanks for that, Whandsy - just scored it for 49p!
As for 'lending' Kindle books, Fried, unless you subscribe to the Kindle Library service, the best way I've found so far is to simply ask a friend who has a book you're interested in if you can register your Kindle with their details, and voila -there it is. I do this all the time with various members of family and friends.
-
Thanks everyone.I simply changed my kindle account address to a british address and I now have it for 49p!
-
It explains why it was working for me: I'm registered with a british address.

(I find it very depressing that I can't print selected pages, though ...).
Phil, if you have Calibre installed you can print separate pages that way.
Cheers, Ken
-
Thank you, Ken. I am sure I have Calibre installed somewhere; it's just a question of finding out in which VM it is installed !

But how do you do that if the book is delivered via whispernet and you dont have a hard copy of the file?
-

I got ripped off - I paid 99p!

That was a very helpful suggestion, Ken, because now not only can I print it, I have it as a PDF :)
