Never had, or in fact heard of it HB.  But I would guess it will be a simple pillau rice to which they add some Garlic paste cooked very gently, (so as not to burn it), in a little Ghee.

We make a Pillau rice for our takeaway, which uses oil in which Garlic and Onions have been fried and then removed.  I might post this one day.

I've had garlic rice before, and it was basically like a stir fried rice but with loads of sliced garlic in it. hmmm. very tasty.

Should be easy to replicate, take some pre cooked rice heat some oil , lightly fry some sliced garlic (the one I had the garlic wasn't browned but just cooked enough to take the bitter edge off) then add the rice and warm through.

Only for garlic lovers or vampire hunters.

Put a little Knob  :o of Butter on the Rice once cooked to soften the flavor.

This idea is from Raygraham (thanx mate) ;)
